Flexible Instruction Days
Flexible Instruction Days (FID) are used in place of a school day that has been cancelled due to inclement weather or other emergency situations. On a FID, students will complete learning activities and assignments provided by the teacher or teachers at home on the day that would have otherwise been cancelled.
Saint Gabriel School has put packets together for all grades K through 8. Those packets are to be kept home until the first cancellation of school. Every folder is Red and have been marked with a Flexible Instruction Day sticker so they can be easily identified. In the event of our first cancellation, students are to complete the packet and return it to school upon return in the Red folder. The teachers will then fill the Red Folder with the next packet.
In the event that we have more than one day out, students will be given another packet to be completed in a timely manner to make up for that day when they return to school.
The current packets can also be found here on this page for each grade. Packets have been updated to Packet 4 on March 11, 2020.
